Pelicans Migrating over Austin

Brown Pelicans Flying North #birds #texas #austin

There is a debate among the two birders I know if they’re brown pelicans or white pelicans. They sure look brown but brown pelicans aren’t supposed to migrate over Austin. Thoughts?
