At AroundAustin want to share the stories of people that make Austin such a great place to live and work. From small business owners, chefs, authors, artists, and musicians, we hope to uncover what makes this city so special. Our goal is to conduct fifty interviews in the next year with the people that make a positive contribution to Austin.
The interview process is simple:
- After a quick initial conversation with set a date and time for the interview. Most interviews take between 30-45 minutes).
- Most of our interviews are conducted over an online chat tool (like Google Hangouts). Online chat allows the interview to be much more conversational than an email interview. If this doesn’t work for a particular interview, we can adjust.
- After the interview, we send you a lightly edited transcript of the interview. Feel free to edit any errors.
- We post the interview on AroundAustin and publicize through our social media account and email lists. We ask that you publicize it by linking to the article and through your social media and email lists.
